One of the first things you should start of doing is adding your website to your Google Webmaster Tools account, this is critical if you want to keep up on how Google is processing your page.
Here you will find all kind of info from your PageRank to the incoming links, and best of all it’s free. How do I get my site verified? easy. Google provides two options for this, choose the HTML file option.
Then all you have to do is Add a new page with the same exact title as the code that was provided by Google Webmaster Tools, don’t write anything on the content and mark the page as private (so it doesn’t show up on the menu).
